1. Shipping Overview

Every DAVY wheel is machined to order from forged blanks, individually inspected, and serialized before shipping. This made-to-order model ensures you receive the latest specification with full traceability — but it also means lead times differ from typical retail purchases.

2. Production & Lead Times

2.1 Made-to-Order Production

DAVY wheels are not pulled from warehouse inventory. Each wheel is precision-machined specifically for your order, ensuring:

  • Latest specification — Every wheel reflects current design revisions and manufacturing refinements
  • Individual serialization — Complete traceability from billet to box
  • Quality assurance — Each wheel passes inspection before shipping

2.2 Estimated Lead Times

Current lead times are displayed on product pages and during checkout. As a general guide:

  • Production time: Approximately 6 weeks from order confirmation
  • Total delivery: Approximately 8 weeks from order to door

Lead times may vary based on order volume and production capacity. We will notify you of any significant delays as soon as possible.

2.3 Pre-Orders

When you place a pre-order, you are reserving a production slot for your specific wheel set. Your order is never waiting on inventory — only on machining and quality control sequencing.

2.4 Order Updates

You will receive email updates at key milestones:

  • Order confirmation
  • Production commencement
  • Quality inspection complete
  • Shipment dispatch with tracking information

3. Shipping Locations

3.1 Shipping Origin

All DAVY wheels are manufactured in Vista, California and ship directly from our production partner's facility in Southern California.

3.2 Domestic Shipping (United States)

We ship to all 50 U.S. states via major carriers including DHL and FedEx. Shipping costs and delivery timeframes are calculated at checkout based on your location.

3.3 International Shipping

International shipping is available to select destinations worldwide. International orders ship via DHL or FedEx with full tracking.

Please note:

  • Additional duties, taxes, and customs fees may apply
  • Import fees are the responsibility of the recipient
  • Delivery times vary by destination and customs processing

4. Shipping Costs

4.1 Shipping Rates

Shipping costs are calculated based on:

  • Destination address
  • Package weight and dimensions
  • Selected shipping method

Final shipping costs are displayed at checkout before payment.

4.2 Free Shipping

Free shipping promotions may be offered periodically. Eligibility and terms will be clearly indicated during checkout.

5. Delivery

5.1 Tracking Your Order

Once your order ships, you will receive an automated email with tracking information from our shipping partner. You can follow your shipment in real time from pickup through final delivery.

If your tracking information is not updating, allow 24-48 hours for carrier system synchronization before contacting support.

5.2 Signature Requirements

Due to the value of DAVY wheels, signature confirmation may be required upon delivery. If you are unavailable to sign, the carrier may:

  • Attempt redelivery on the next business day
  • Hold the package at a local facility for pickup

5.3 Delivery Address

Please ensure your shipping address is accurate and complete. If you enter an incorrect address:

  • Before shipment: Contact us immediately and we can update the address
  • After shipment: We will coordinate with the carrier, but additional fees or delays may apply

5.4 Inspection Upon Delivery

Important: Inspect your package immediately upon delivery.

  • Check the exterior packaging for visible damage
  • Open and inspect each wheel for any shipping damage
  • Document any damage with photographs
  • Contact us within 48 hours if damage is discovered

5.5 Damaged Shipments

If your shipment arrives damaged:

  1. Photograph the packaging exterior showing damage
  2. Photograph the damaged product(s)
  3. Contact us immediately with your order number and photos

Documentation enables carrier claim processing and expedites replacement fulfillment. Do not discard packaging until the claim is resolved.

5.6 Missing or Lost Shipments

If tracking shows delivery but you have not received your package, or if a shipment appears lost in transit:

  1. Check with neighbors and building management
  2. Contact the carrier using your tracking number
  3. Contact us if the issue is not resolved within 48 hours

We will work with the carrier to investigate and resolve the issue.

6. Returns

6.1 Return Policy Overview

Due to the made-to-order nature of DAVY products, returns are evaluated on a case-by-case basis. We are committed to ensuring your satisfaction while balancing the custom manufacturing process.

6.2 Eligible Returns

Products may be eligible for return if:

  • The product is defective or damaged upon arrival
  • The product does not match the specifications of your confirmed order
  • The return is requested within 30 days of delivery
  • The product is unused, uninstalled, and in original condition

6.3 Non-Returnable Items

The following are generally not eligible for return:

  • Products that have been installed, mounted, or used
  • Products that have been modified, refinished, or altered
  • Products damaged due to improper installation or use
  • Products subjected to thermal treatment (powder-coating, anodizing)
  • Products with cosmetic concerns resulting from normal handling

6.4 How to Request a Return

To initiate a return:

  1. Contact our support team at support@davypowersports.com
  2. Provide your order number and reason for return
  3. Include photographs of the product and any issues
  4. Await return authorization and shipping instructions

Do not ship products back without authorization. Unauthorized returns may be refused or delayed.

6.5 Return Shipping

  • Defective or incorrect orders: We will provide a prepaid return shipping label
  • All other returns: Return shipping costs are the customer's responsibility

Products must be securely packaged to prevent damage during return transit. We recommend using the original packaging if available.

6.6 Restocking Fees

A restocking fee of up to 20% may apply to returns that are not due to defects or our error. This fee covers inspection, reprocessing, and handling costs.

7. Refunds

7.1 Refund Processing

Once we receive and inspect your returned product:

  • Approved refunds are processed within 10-14 business days
  • Refunds are issued to your original payment method
  • You will receive email confirmation when the refund is processed

7.2 Refund Timeline

After we process your refund, it may take additional time to appear in your account depending on your payment provider:

  • Credit cards: 5-10 business days
  • Debit cards: 5-10 business days
  • PayPal: 3-5 business days
  • Affirm: Contact Affirm directly for financing refund timelines

7.3 What's Refunded

  • Product cost: Full refund for approved returns
  • Original shipping: Refunded only if return is due to our error or defect
  • Return shipping: Not refunded unless we provided a prepaid label

8. Exchanges

8.1 Exchange Process

If you need a different configuration (e.g., different vehicle fitment), we handle exchanges as:

  1. Return of the original order (standard return process)
  2. New order for the correct configuration

Because each wheel is made to order, we cannot hold inventory for direct exchanges. Contact us and we will guide you through the process as efficiently as possible.

8.2 Expedited Exchanges

For urgent situations, we may be able to begin production on your replacement order before the return is received. Contact our support team to discuss options.

9. Order Cancellations

9.1 Cancellation Policy

DAVY takes a customer-first approach. If you need to cancel an order:

  • Before production begins: Full refund, no cancellation fee
  • After production begins: Cancellation may be subject to fees based on production stage
  • After shipment: Standard return process applies

9.2 How to Cancel

Contact us immediately at support@davypowersports.com with your order number. The sooner you contact us, the more options we have to accommodate your request.

10. The DAVY Commitment — Warranty Replacements

10.1 Lifetime Warranty

Every DAVY wheel is backed by The DAVY Commitment — our no-questions-asked lifetime warranty for the original owner. If you ever manage to break a DAVY wheel, we will replace it.

10.2 Warranty Replacement Shipping

For approved warranty claims:

  • Replacement wheels ship within 5 business days of claim approval
  • We maintain reserve forged blank inventory specifically for fast-turn warranty fulfillment
  • Warranty replacements ship at no cost to you

10.3 How to File a Warranty Claim

  1. Contact support@davypowersports.com
  2. Provide your wheel serial number (engraved on each wheel)
  3. Include photographs documenting the issue
  4. Describe what happened and the condition of the wheel

No receipt required — we can verify ownership through the serial number.

10.4 Warranty Exclusions

The following void warranty coverage:

  • Powder-coating or anodizing (heat reverses T6 treatment, compromising alloy strength)
  • Unauthorized modifications affecting structural integrity

Non-thermal painting is permitted but undertaken at your discretion.
